Increases the dollar thresholds for multiple property crime charges, raising the minimum threshold for theft in the second degree from $500 to $1,500 and for theft in the third degree from $50 to $250.

Updates criminal mischief thresholds from $500 to $1,500 for third degree and from $50 to $250 for fourth degree, and increases vehicle theft thresholds from $500 to $1,500 for property damage or loss of use.

Raises thresholds for concealment of merchandise, removal of identification marks, unlawful possession, issuing bad checks, and fraudulent use of access devices, generally doubling or tripling the previous dollar amounts that determine offense severity.

Repeals AS 11.46.140(a)(2) and renumbers subsection (3) to (2), modifying the prior conviction provisions for theft in the third degree.

Applies to all offenses committed on or after the effective date of the Act.
