Increases the maximum allowance for any one injury or disablement from $2,500 to $10,000 under the fisherman's fund.

Increases the maximum allowance for any one heart attack from $2,500 to $10,000 under the fisherman's fund.

Maintains existing restrictions prohibiting payment for medical care or hospitalization furnished before the ascertainable time of injury or before authorization in occupational disease cases.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
