Exempts volunteer work performed by amateur sports officials from Alaska Employment Security Act requirements if competitors are not paid a wage or salary.

Defines "sports official" as a participant in a sports event or competition with neutral participation status, including umpires, referees, judges, scorekeepers, timekeepers, or organizers.

Limits the exemption to work where annual compensation does not exceed $1,500 and is paid only to defray or reimburse reasonable food, travel, and incidental expenses.

Exemption does not apply to claims for benefits related to sports events or competitions sponsored by an employer for whom the person normally performs work as a teacher, coach, or administrator.

Amends AS 23.20.526(a) to add paragraph (23) establishing these exemption criteria for volunteer sports official work.
