Amends AS 11.81.335(b) to modify the duty to retreat requirement in self-defense law by adding exceptions where no duty to leave exists.

Removes "or" from the end of subsection (3) and adds two new subsections establishing additional exceptions to the duty to retreat.

Adds exception (4) allowing use of deadly force when protecting a child or a member of the person's household without duty to retreat.

Adds exception (5) allowing use of deadly force in any place where the person has a right to be, eliminating the retreat requirement in all lawful locations.
