Waives rental fees for public use cabins and overnight lodgings in state parks for Alaska residents who are veterans or 65 years of age or older.

Modifies existing provision to waive developed campsite fees for disabled veterans who are not state residents, replacing previous broader language covering all veterans.

Establishes that "veteran" has the meaning defined in AS 38.05.067 for purposes of state park fee exemptions.

Requires the department to issue annual state park developed campsite permits free of charge to disabled veterans and report the number of permits issued by February 1 each year.
