Repeals and reenacts AS 39.52.910(d) to modify restrictions on employment relationships between immediate family members in state government.

Allows state employees to work with immediate family members if the employee does not supervise the family member.

Permits supervision of immediate family members only when the supervision is "routine," defined as situations where the supervisor cannot act or recommend decisions requiring independent judgment on employment appointments, discipline, or grievance adjudication.

Prohibits supervisors from making independent judgment decisions regarding hiring, transferring, laying off, recalling, suspension, discharge, demotion, written warnings, or first-level grievance responses for related family members.
