Extends the termination date of the State Board of Registration for Architects, Engineers, and Land Surveyors from June 30, 2009 to June 30, 2017.

Extends the term of the temporary landscape architect board member position from June 30, 2009 to June 30, 2017.

Allows temporary board members serving before July 1, 2009 to be eligible for reappointment to a new term beginning July 1, 2009, unless they have already served two successive terms.

Temporary board members must have been Alaska residents for three consecutive years, serve in an advisory nonvoting capacity, receive per diem and travel expense reimbursement, and be registered as landscape architects.

Section 2 takes effect July 1, 2009; the remainder of the bill takes effect immediately.
