Exempts disabled peace officers with at least 20 years of credited service from paying premiums for retiree major medical insurance coverage under the state defined benefit retirement plan.

Qualifies peace officers who were disabled between their 19th and 25th year of service and completed at least 20 years of credited service as a peace officer for premium-free major medical coverage.

Maintains existing exemptions for disabled members, disabled members appointed to normal retirement, and those age 60 or older with at least 10 years of credited service.

Removes prior restrictions that limited premium waiver eligibility based on age and years of service for certain categories of retirees.
