Urges United States Congress to provide necessary funding for ongoing development, operation, and maintenance of the Ground-based Midcourse Defense System located at Fort Greely, Alaska

Directs Department of Defense to continue the Ground-based Midcourse Defense System and require that any plan to reduce funding for core elements be certified by the Secretary of Defense as not having appreciable negative effects on national defense capability

Notes the system provides over 700 jobs in Alaska with an economic effect of nearly $250,000,000 and serves as the nation's only deployed operational defense against long-range ballistic missile threats

Highlights that the 49th Missile Defense Battalion (200 Alaska National Guard members) provides operational control and security for interceptors protecting over 300,000,000 American citizens

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to federal leadership including the President, Congress members, Secretary of Defense, and Alaska's congressional delegation
