Urges the United States Department of Agriculture and Congress to extend the military housing allowance income exclusion to all military families for school nutrition program eligibility, whether living on-base or off-base.

Current law under the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 (42 U.S.C. 1758(b)(13)) excludes military housing allowances from income calculations only for service members living in on-base private housing.

Military families living in off-base housing in the commercial real estate market cannot exclude their housing allowance from income, making many ineligible for federal school nutrition programs including the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, and After School Snack Program.

Service members cannot hold second jobs due to 24-hour availability requirements, limiting their income to military compensation alone.

Copies of the resolution shall be sent to the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture and Alaska's congressional delegation members.
