• Requests the U.S. Secretary of Transportation to redefinize Alaska's time zone boundaries under federal law (15 U.S.C. 260-267).

• Proposes moving Alaska's Railbelt area (including Anchorage and Fairbanks), Southeast Alaska, and the Kodiak Island Borough east of 154 degrees West longitude into the Pacific standard time zone to align with West Coast business relationships.

• Maintains the Alaska standard time zone for areas west of 154 degrees West longitude, excluding the western portion of Kodiak Island Borough.
