Extends the termination date of the State Board of Registration for Architects, Engineers, and Land Surveyors from June 30, 2009, to June 30, 2017.

Extends the term of the temporary landscape architect board member position to expire June 30, 2017, instead of June 30, 2009.

Allows temporary board members serving before July 1, 2009, to be reappointed to new terms beginning July 1, 2009, if they have not already served two successive terms and continue to meet qualification requirements.

Requires temporary landscape architect board members to have been Alaska residents for three consecutive years, serve in an advisory nonvoting capacity, and be registered as landscape architects.

Section 2 takes effect July 1, 2009, while remaining provisions take effect immediately.
