Adds "wildland fire and resource technician" positions to the definition of "peace officer" or "fire fighter" under both the defined contribution and defined benefit plans of Alaska's public employees' retirement system

Allows employees previously employed as wildland fire and resource technicians to retroactively convert their credited service to peace officer service by claiming it before retirement appointment

Requires employees converting service to establish an indebtedness equal to the difference between peace officer contributions they should have made versus contributions actually made, with interest accruing from July 1, 2010

Any outstanding indebtedness at retirement triggers an actuarial adjustment to benefits payable based on the wildland fire and resource technician service

Act takes effect immediately upon passage
