SB 265 - Revisor's Bill Summary

• Changes "AND" to "or" in the definition of "public aircraft" to clarify that aircraft used exclusively in governmental service of either the United States or state government qualify as public aircraft.

• Updates statutory references from AS 40.25.100 - 40.25.220 to AS 40.25.100 - 40.25.295 throughout multiple statutes to reflect expansion of public records disclosure laws.

• Corrects terminology and cross-references in statutes governing professional licensing, including references to limited liability partnerships under AS 32.06.995 instead of outdated provisions.

• Adds new short titles for the Alaska Disaster Act (AS 26.23.010 - 26.23.240 and 26.23.900) and the Open Meetings Act (AS 44.62.310 - 44.62.319) with corresponding revisor's instructions to update references throughout the statutes.

• Takes effect immediately upon enactment, except Section 22 which takes effect conditionally only if specific statutes regarding fishing guides are repealed; Section 15 is retroactive to June 21, 2009.
