Break time may run concurrently with other breaks but must occur at times that ensure the health and comfort of both mother and child and maintain milk supply.

Mandates employers provide a private and sanitary room or location near the work area (excluding toilet stalls) for expressing milk or breastfeeding.

Clarifies that employers are not required to allow children in the workplace outside of designated break times.

Applies to all employers including corporations, partnerships, sole proprietors, the state, and political subdivisions.
