AK SJR23

Proposes a new Section 22 to Article II of the Alaska Constitution granting the legislature and the prime sponsor of an enacted bill the right to intervene in lawsuits challenging or interpreting that law.

Requires the legislature to implement procedures for this intervention authority.

Places the constitutional amendment before Alaska voters at the next general election in accordance with Article XIII, Section 1 of the Alaska Constitution and state election laws.
