• Requests the governor direct all state agencies to consider propane or compressed natural gas vehicles when replacing existing vehicles or adding new ones to the state fleet.

• Urges the governor to take advantage of federal incentives for alternative fuel vehicles if they benefit the state.

• Prohibits state funding for vehicle purchases by communities with populations over 25,000 that have propane or natural gas supplies, unless analysis proves these fuels are economically or technologically ineffective.

• Requests communities with populations over 25,000 to consider installing one or more fast-fill compressed natural gas refueling stations for area residents.
