Establishes an office of military and veteran student assistance at the University of Alaska Anchorage and Fairbanks campuses to provide statewide outreach and coordination.

Requires the Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs to employ at least two full-time equivalent persons to provide year-round educational assistance at the University of Alaska office.

Department personnel shall advise on military and veteran student issues, facilitate enrollment in federal and state education benefits, assist with University of Alaska registration, and help with financial aid applications.

Department personnel shall monitor progress toward graduation, provide academic counseling referrals and health care referrals, and make recommendations to faculty regarding military-related mental and physical health needs.

Defines "military and veteran students" as Alaska residents who are active duty military members, dependents of active duty military, or veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces or Alaska State Defense Force.
