Department of Administration shall provide veteran designation and U.S. flag replica on identification cards and driver's licenses upon request for retired veterans or those discharged under honorable conditions

Applicants must provide proof of veteran status showing retirement or honorable discharge to receive the designation

Department may charge $5 fee for replacing a valid identification card or driver's license with a new card or license that includes the veteran designation, but cannot charge a fee solely for the designation itself

With applicant approval, the department shall share the name and address of veterans receiving designations with the Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs

Replacement driver's licenses with veteran designations retain the expiration date of the original license; act takes effect March 1, 2013
