Establishes June 10 of each year as Alaska Wild Salmon Day to celebrate wild king, sockeye, coho, chum, and pink salmon resources in the state.

Recognizes that securing the right to safeguard Alaska wild salmon was a driving force in the quest for statehood and represents among the state's greatest accomplishments.

Acknowledges wild salmon subsistence fishing has sustained Alaska Native peoples for thousands of years and commercial fishing has been a mainstay industry for over a century.

Permits observance through educational and celebratory events, projects, and activities designed to strengthen public protection efforts and increase awareness of Alaska wild salmon and salmon fishers.
