State agencies may not charge or collect license fees from veterans for their first occupational license application after military discharge.

License fee prohibition does not apply to renewal fees for existing licenses.

State agencies issuing licenses must submit monthly lists of veteran applicants to the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development to track previous license applications across agencies.

"License" includes certificates, permits, and registrations for occupations but excludes driver's licenses and commercial driver's licenses.

"Veteran" is defined as a person who served in U.S. armed forces and was discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable.
