Absentee ballot applications submitted by qualified voters are valid through the next two regularly scheduled general elections following the application submission date.

If a voter casts an absentee ballot as a result of an application, that application remains valid through the next two regularly scheduled general elections following the election in which the ballot was cast.

Election directors or supervisors are not required to send absentee ballots to voters after receiving actual notice that mail to the voter's permanent or alternate mailing address is undeliverable.

The Act takes effect January 1, 2013.
