• Removes requirement to post notices at United States post offices in AS 03.35.030 for controlled livestock district hearings, requiring only three conspicuous public places within the proposed district instead.

• Eliminates post office notice posting requirement in AS 34.35.175(d) for property lien sale notices, requiring only three public places in the recording district.

• Removes requirement in AS 34.45.050(b) to post foreclosure sale notices at the nearest post office, requiring only three public places within five miles of the sale location.

• Eliminates post office notice posting requirement in AS 43.20.270(d) for tax distraint sales, allowing notices to be posted at three discretionary public places within five miles of the sale location.

• Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
