• Adds a definition of "secure correctional facility" in AS 11.56.310(c) as a facility with construction/security features designed to restrict unauthorized departure or staffed with authorized personnel to prevent unauthorized leaving.

• Repeals Section 3, chapter 27, SLA 2007, which had previously included language relating to electronic monitoring as a special condition of probation and parole for gang-related offenses.

• Takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c), applying to offenses occurring on or after the effective date.
