Amends salary provisions for Alaska Supreme Court justices, superior court judges, and district court judges to tie geographic cost-of-living adjustments to pay step differentials in AS 39.27.020 instead of AS 22.35.010.

Adjustments are based on the location of each judge's primary office assignment and remain separate from monthly base salary calculations.

Specifies that retirement contributions and benefits shall be computed only on the monthly base salary, excluding the geographic cost-of-living adjustment.

Repeals AS 22.35.010, which previously governed the geographic cost-of-living adjustment structure for judges.

Effective date: July 1, 2012.
