Establishes a $100,000 one-time occupational death benefit for surviving spouses of peace officers and firefighters in Alaska.

If no surviving spouse exists or the spouse dies before the payment month, the $100,000 is divided equally among the deceased officer's or firefighter's dependent children.

Persons who committed an act that substantially caused the peace officer's or firefighter's death are ineligible to receive any portion of the $100,000 benefit.

The $100,000 one-time payment is not subject to cost-of-living adjustments that apply to other occupational death benefits and survivor benefits.

Applies these provisions to both the Public Employees' Retirement System (AS 39.35.430) and the Teachers' Retirement System (AS 39.35.892).
