AK HJR14

Amends Article II, Section 5 of the Alaska Constitution to replace the reference to "secretary of state" with "lieutenant governor" in the section addressing legislator disqualifications.

Amends Article III, Section 25 of the Alaska Constitution to replace the reference to "secretary of state" with "lieutenant governor" regarding exceptions for department head appointments.

Corrects obsolete constitutional references that no longer reflect current Alaska state government structure.

Requires the proposed amendments to be placed before voters at the next general election in compliance with Article XIII, Section 1 of the Alaska Constitution.
