Alaska State Legislature commits to collaborate with the Yukon and Northwest Territories legislative assemblies through the Pacific NorthWest Economic Region and its Arctic Caucus to address common regional problems

Alaska, Yukon, and Northwest Territories will work to present a synchronized message to their respective federal governments emphasizing that coordinated United States and Canadian policies are vital to Arctic welfare

Alaska invites Yukon and Northwest Territories governments to join in an enduring alliance to pursue common goals including addressing limited educational opportunities, workforce development, suicide prevention, domestic violence, substance abuse, economic diversification, and transportation and communication infrastructure needs

The Arctic Caucus, formed in November 2009, will address issues including scientific research cooperation, marine safety, emergency preparedness, search and rescue coordination, and economic development through tourism and regional partnerships

Copies of the resolution shall be sent to Canadian and U.S. federal officials, Alaska state leadership, and Alaska's congressional delegation
