Amends Alaska Statutes section 43.23.008(c) regarding permanent fund dividend eligibility for individuals absent from the state.

Exempts active duty military service members from the 180-day absence limitation if they were eligible for the three dividends immediately preceding induction into the armed forces.

Maintains existing exemptions for absences under subsections (a)(9), (a)(10), and accompanying absences under (a)(13) of the statute.

Allows military service members to remain eligible for current year dividends despite exceeding the standard 180-day absence threshold during qualifying years.
