Approves interim classifications issued by the commissioner of natural resources under Mineral Order No. 1121 and Amendment 3 to Mineral Closing Order 593 to close state land within the upper Glacier Creek and Winner Creek drainages near Girdwood to new mineral entry.

Closes approximately 5,740 acres of state-owned land in the Glacier Creek and Winner Creek drainages to new mineral entry under AS 38.05.300(c), subject to existing valid rights.

Specified parcels across four townships (Township 10 North Ranges 2-3 East, Township 11 North Ranges 2-3 East, Seward Meridian) are closed to mineral entry to support existing and proposed recreational development facilities and infrastructure.

Excludes certain mining claims (AA 56277, AA 56278, AA 56282, AA 56283, and U.S. Survey 11872) and some land parcels from the closure to protect existing valid rights.

Legislation takes effect immediately upon enactment under AS 01.10.070(c).
