CSSB 190(L&C) Summary

• Creates a new retired status master guide-outfitter license that is valid for the lifetime of the license holder, requires a one-time fee, does not require renewal, and prohibits the holder from guiding or outfitting under the retired status.

• Allows registered guide-outfitters to employ class-A assistant guides or other registered guide-outfitters to conduct hunts without the contracting guide being physically present, subject to board regulations.

• Expands the Big Game Commercial Services Board's authority to suspend or revoke transporter and guide licenses for conduct involving unprofessionalism, moral turpitude, or gross immorality.

• Adds a retired status master guide-outfitter license fee to the department's fee schedule and clarifies that the retired status license is excluded from definitions of "any class of guide license" and "licensee."

• Takes effect immediately except for Section 4, which takes effect July 1, 2013.
