Establishes the Human Trafficking Task Force in the Department of Law, chaired by the attorney general, with representatives from the Department of Public Safety, Department of Health and Social Services, and two governor-appointed members from nongovernmental organizations providing services to trafficking victims.

Task force must submit a report to the legislature by January 15, 2013, including assessment of available services, recommendations for improvement, and data on human trafficking cases reported, prosecuted, and investigated in Alaska since 2007.

Report must document current services available to victims including medical or psychological counseling, emergency shelter, translation services, and assistance with safe housing and legal services.

Task force shall solicit input from local, state, and federal agencies, nongovernmental organizations, and interested persons through at least one public meeting with teleconference capability and opportunity for written or oral comments.

Sunsets on June 1, 2013, with nongovernmental members responsible for their own participation costs and state agency expenses shared among the three participating departments.
