Reestablishes the Alaska Commission on the Status of Women in the Office of the Governor with nine total members: two from the executive branch and seven public members appointed by the governor.

Requires commission membership to include at least one person managing a household with spouse and child (not otherwise employed) and at least one single mother heading a household with at least one child.

Commission members serve three-year staggered terms with a maximum of six consecutive years and receive per diem and travel allowances but no compensation.

Commission shall meet on a rotating basis across six designated state regions (Southcentral, Southeast, Kenai Peninsula, Western, Interior, and Northern Alaska) without holding consecutive meetings in the same region.

Commission duties include conducting research on women's status, serving as a referral service, accumulating discrimination data, recommending legislative action, and publishing annual reports to the governor and legislature by the 15th day of each regular legislative session.
