Removes the constitutional prohibition against using public funds for the direct benefit of religious or other private educational institutions from Article VII, Section 1.

Adds an exception to Article IX, Section 6 (Public Purpose) allowing public funds to be paid for the direct educational benefit of students as provided by law.

Proposed amendments require voter approval at the next general election in accordance with Alaska constitutional procedures and state election laws.
