Amends AS 28.15.081 to allow the Alaska Department of Public Safety to waive examination requirements for applicants with noncommercial driver's licenses from foreign jurisdictions.

Waiver is permitted only if the department determines the foreign jurisdiction has driver's license examination requirements adequate to ensure driver qualifications.

Applies only to noncommercial driver's licenses, not commercial licenses.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment under AS 01.10.070(c).
