Amends Alaska Statute 28.10.108 to allow lessees of passenger vehicles, low-speed vehicles, pick-up trucks, trucks, or vans to pay standard registration fees if the vehicle is registered in both the lessor's and lessee's names

Requires the leased vehicle to meet the unladen weight requirement specified in AS 28.10.421(b)(1)(A) to qualify for the standard registration fee

Prohibits the use of the leased vehicle for transportation of persons or property for hire or for any other commercial use

Takes effect January 1, 2016
