Creates new statute AS 16.05.931 authorizing donations of lawfully taken game, marine plants, aquatic plants, fish eggs, and fish taken for subsistence or sport use to covered organizations and food banks.

Eligible covered organizations include public, nonprofit, or private schools; child care facilities; hospitals and medical clinics; residential treatment centers; and senior centers or senior food programs.

Covered organizations may provide meals made with donated items to their staff and respective users (students, patients, children, or seniors depending on organization type) but may not sell meals to other persons.

Permits covered organizations to accept state and federal funding and charge fees for meals to users and staff while maintaining meal service programs.

Extends civil and criminal liability protections to donors and food banks/covered organizations distributing covered food items, provided they inspect food for fitness and have no knowledge it is adulterated or contaminated.
