Removes the "in a park unit" limitation from AS 41.21.026(a), allowing the Department of Natural Resources to charge fees for various park uses statewide rather than only within designated park units.

Authorizes the department to sell merchandise for informational, educational, or promotional purposes to support park operations, with sales made for resale purposes at prices ensuring fair and reasonable returns to the department.

Adds twelve categories of activities and facilities for which fees may be charged, including cabin rentals, campsite use, commercial permits, boat ramps, firewood sales, visitor center admission, and educational programs.

Repeals the provision allowing fees specifically for "sale of merchandise for informational or educational purposes related to public use and understanding of parks," replacing it with broader merchandise sales authority under a new subsection.
