Adds "filed" and "recognized" protective orders to the definition of protective orders under AS 11.56.740, expanding the types of orders enforceable as crimes when violated.

Creates new AS 18.65.867 to recognize and enforce protective orders issued in other jurisdictions that relate to stalking or sexual assault and meet full faith and credit requirements under 18 U.S.C. 2265.

Amends AS 18.66.140 to recognize out-of-state domestic violence protective orders without requiring filing, if issued by U.S. federal, state, territorial, military, or tribal courts and entitled to full faith and credit.

Establishes presumption of validity for protective orders issued in another jurisdiction that appear authentic on their face.

Modifies AS 12.30.027 to restrict release of arrested persons to residences or workplaces of protective order petitioners unless 20 days pass, petitioner consents, defendant lacks domestic violence convictions, and court finds no danger by clear and convincing evidence.
