Increases required active experience from 24 months to 48 months of continuous real estate work, measured within a 60-month period instead of 36 months, for both broker and associate broker licensure under AS 08.88.171(a) and (b)

Changes language in AS 08.88.091(c) from "must" to "shall" regarding completion of commission-approved education hours

New requirements apply only to applications submitted on or after the January 1, 2017 effective date

Authorizes the real estate commission to adopt implementing regulations under the Administrative Procedure Act
