Prohibits the attorney general from being appointed to or serving on any state board, commission, governing body of a public corporation, or other state entity with a governing body to avoid conflicts of interest and allow focus on litigation and legal representation.

Removes the attorney general or designee from membership on the Controlled Substances Advisory Committee, Criminal Justice Information Advisory Board, and Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Council, replacing them with other state prosecutors.

Explicitly bars the attorney general from serving on boards for the Alaska Railroad Corporation, Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority, and Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation.

Changes chair positions from attorney general to commissioner of public safety for the Controlled Substances Advisory Committee and updates "chairman" to "chair" terminology throughout relevant statutes.

Requests the governor replace the attorney general on the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation board with a different principal department head and takes effect immediately.
