Establishes March 27 as Great Alaska Good Friday Earthquake Remembrance Day to be observed annually in Alaska.

The day honors those who died throughout the state in earthquakes, tsunamis, and landslides following the 1964 earthquake, the most powerful recorded earthquake in North America, and those who died attempting to save others.

Requires the governor to issue a proclamation to commemorate the day and direct that the Alaska flag be flown at half-mast.

Permits civic groups and the public to observe the day through suitable observances and exercises.

Aims to preserve lessons from the 1964 earthquake's devastating consequences and recovery efforts to develop a safer environment and increase public awareness for earthquake preparation.
