Establishes Alaska Firefighters' Day to be observed on the Sunday preceding October 9 each year, or on October 9 if that date falls on a Sunday.

Recognizes and honors the 27 fallen Alaska firefighters, both career and volunteer, who died in the line of duty, as well as other fallen emergency medical and rescue personnel.

Acknowledges approximately 1,500 career municipal, wildland, and airport firefighters in Alaska.

Acknowledges approximately 6,000 volunteer municipal, village, and wildland firefighters in Alaska.

Permits Alaska Firefighters' Day to be observed through suitable observances and exercises by civic groups and the public.
