Courts may not appoint individuals who serve as guardians or conservators as child custody investigators unless they are licensed under the new chapter.

Provides transitional provisions allowing existing child custody investigators to continue practicing for 180 days after regulations are adopted, and staggered initial board member terms to ensure continuity.
