AK HCR16

Amends Rule 20(a) of the Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature to establish the Ways and Means Committee as a standing committee in each house.

Ways and Means Committee jurisdiction includes consideration of methods to control state spending, identify ways to make government programs more efficient, and review measures that raise state revenue.

Adds the Ways and Means Committee to the list of existing standing committees (Education, Finance, Health and Social Services, Judiciary, Labor and Commerce, Community and Regional Affairs, Resources, Rules, State Affairs, and Transportation).
