Designates June 27, 2016, as Post-Traumatic Stress Injury Awareness Day in Alaska.

Recognizes that post-traumatic stress results from combat exposure and other traumatic events including rape, assault, abuse, accidents, and natural disasters, with symptoms including flashbacks, nightmares, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts.

Advocates changing terminology from "post-traumatic stress disorder" (PTSD) to "post-traumatic stress injury" to reduce stigma and encourage affected individuals to seek medical treatment.

Encourages the Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs and Department of Health and Social Services to continue educating service members, veterans, abuse victims, crime victims, disaster survivors, and the public about the causes, symptoms, and treatment options for post-traumatic stress injury.
