Amends Article III, Section 25 of the Alaska Constitution to remove the attorney general from gubernatorial appointment and legislative confirmation, making it an independently elected office.

Creates a new Article III, Section 28 establishing that the attorney general shall be elected by qualified voters at the same time and for the same term as the governor.

Requires the attorney general to be a U.S. citizen, qualified voter, Alaska resident, and active member of the organized state bar.

Limits attorneys general to two consecutive full terms, with a one-term waiting period before eligibility for re-election.

Establishes procedures for filling vacancies through special election within 60-90 days, with gubernatorial interim appointment authority of up to 30 days, and places the proposed amendments before voters at the next general election.
