Exempts Alaska from observing daylight saving time, requiring the entire state to observe standard time year-round under 15 U.S.C. 260a.

Petitions the United States Department of Transportation to place all of Alaska within the Pacific standard time zone under the Uniform Time Act of 1966.

The daylight saving time exemption (Section 1) takes effect only if the U.S. Department of Transportation approves the time zone change on or before January 1, 2027.

The petition to the U.S. Department of Transportation takes effect immediately upon enactment.

If approved by the Department of Transportation, the exemption from daylight saving time becomes effective on the date Alaska is placed in the Pacific standard time zone.
