Establishes a matching grant program in the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development for museum construction, expansion, and major renovation projects.

Grants are capped at 50 percent of total proposed project costs, subject to appropriation.

Eligible museums must be located in Alaska, eligible to receive state grant funds, and provide matching funds equal to at least 50 percent of total project costs from other sources.

Defines "major renovation" as significant physical upgrades that improve artifact preservation, public presentation, or educational services.

"Museum" includes facilities defined in AS 14.57.290 and cultural centers that exhibit, care for, or store collections and are open to the public.
