Suspends Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e) of the Alaska State Legislature's Uniform Rules to allow consideration of House Joint Resolution No. 28.

Opposes the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's approval of AquaBounty AquAdvantage genetically engineered salmon.

Urges the U.S. Congress to enact legislation requiring genetically engineered products to be prominently labeled with the words "Genetically Modified" on packaging.

Supports efforts by Alaska's congressional delegation to delay confirmation of the new FDA commissioner until the FDA agrees to require labeling for genetically engineered salmon.
